This was the first stop my wife and I made on our first trip together after our retirement is probably the saddest and most tragic places I have been.  It took me exactly four years to the day to finally edit and publish the photos below.  3-12-2013 DDJ

This gate on the east end of the memorial signifies the last minute of peace...

...while this one at the west gate signifies the beginning of recovery.

There are 168 glass, bronze and stone chairs at the memorial representing the 168 persons that lost their lives.
